INTRODUCTION

Using the latest G.SHDSL technology based on TC-PAM modulation (G.991.2), the AEMODSL M11 allows the connection of existing equipment that has a serial interface, to a DSLAM by emulating an X.24/V.11 interface.

OVERVIEW

AEMODSL M11: X.21 (CES AAL1) / G.SHDSL equipment:

The AEMODSL M11 is an X.21 (CES AAL1) / SHDSL converter dedicated to the connection of existing routers to the DSLAM. Existing equipment (routers, firewalls, etc.) remain in place for the benefit of the provider and its customers. This saves time simplifies installation.

With the option of two G.SHDSL line interfaces, the AEMODSL M11 offers the possibility to increase the actual reach by up to 5 km at 2048 kbps without the use of repeaters. It is possible to double or triple this distance by the use of repeaters.

For unbundling, AEMODSL M11 offers an IP connecting solution, that is very compact and easy to operate.

MAIN FEATURES

- Allows an existing installation to be connected to G.SHDSL without the need to reconfigure the router, and the firewall.
- V.11/X.24 circuit emulation (CES AAL1).
- Variable bitrates over 2 or 4 wires so as to increase the reach without the need for repeaters.
- Repeaters available to double or triple the reach.
- Compact in-premises stand-alone box.

APPLICATION SCENARIO
