INTRODUCTION

Using the latest G.SHDSL technology based on TC-PAM modulation (G.991.2), the AEMODSL V35 optimises the reach of an equipment using a V.35/V.36 serial interface according to the bitrate selected (from 64 to 2048 Kbps) while putting value-added performance to the traditional copper infrastructure.

OVERVIEW

AEMODSL V35: V.35/V.36 - G.SHDSL equipment:

The AEMODSL V35 is a V.35/V.36 - SHDSL converter designed to deliver variable high-speed transmission access over a single, or two copper pairs. This allows the use of existing infrastructure and faster return on investment. Fitted, as an option, with two G.SHDSL interfaces, AEMODSL V35 extends the range of a V.35/V.36 device up to 5 km at 2048 kbps without the need for a repeater. It is possible to double or triple that reach using one or two repeaters.

MAIN FEATURES

- Device with both NTU function and V.35/V.36 services access function dedicated to high-speed data transfer at rates from 64 kbps to 2048 kbps.
- Operates over two or four wires (one or two pairs) at variable bitrates thus increasing the reach before the need of a repeater.
- Repeaters available to double or triple the reach.
- Compact standalone unit or 19" - 4U central office rack up to 16 cards (16 to 32 links available).
- Optional line-powered feature of the repeaters and/or the remote standalone unit.
- Remote management via FLEX'NMS II management system (SNMP).

APPLICATION SCENARIO

Remote access solution for Telco's and businesses (e.g. LAN to LAN connection)

Network access solution for Telco's (e.g. TDM leased line access service)
