OVERVIEW |
FLEXDSL 3000S: Tri-port G.SHDSL MUX.
FLEXDSL 3000S is a tri-port SHDSL (Symmetrical High-speed Digital Subscriber Line) access multiplexer. This is used to connect SME's networks to the ATM network.
It offers three interfaces for remote connection to a DSLAM:
a 10/100Base T Ethernet interface
a G.703/704 fractional E1 interface
an X.21 (X.24/V.11) or V.35 interface
Two G.SHDSL line interfaces are available as an option. This enables the FLEXDSL 3000S to increase the range to about 5 km at 2048kbps without the use of repeaters. Repeaters may be used to double or to triple this distance.
For unbundling, FLEXDSL 3000S offers an IP connecting solution (embedded Ethernet bridge) which is very compact and easy to operate. Two standard serial ports allow the use and preservation of existing infrastructure.
