OVERVIEW |
FLEXDSL 3000ST: Tri-port G.SHDSL MUX.
FLEXDSL 3000ST is a tri-port SHDSL (Symmetrical High-speed Digital Subscriber Line) access multiplexer. This is used to connect SME's networks to the E1 networks.
It offers three interfaces for remote connection to E1 networks:
a 10/100Base T Ethernet interface
a G.703/704 fractional E1 interface
an X.21 (X.24/V.11) or V.35 interface
Two G.SHDSL line interfaces are available as an option. This enables the FLEXDSL 3000ST to increase the ange to about 5 km at 2048kbps without the use of repeaters. Repeaters may be used to double or to triple this distance.
For unbundling, FLEXDSL 3000ST offers an IP connecting solution (embedded Ethernet bridge) which is very compact and easy to operate. Two standard serial ports allow the use and preservation of existing infrastructure.
